David was an integral part of the team that led the new investment strategy that we adopted at the Bahrain EDB, especially with regard to building the Kingdom’s Fintech eco-system.

David Parker was instrumental in strategically positioning Bahrain in a way that attracted entrepreneurs from around the world to come to the Kingdom and test new financial products and solutions. At the same time, I witnessed him working closely with corporates and the regulator in the Kingdom to push the digital agenda forward, paving the way for open banking and other innovations.

David most recently worked with me at Bahrain EDB where we delivered a series of record breaking years for inward investment. Previously at InvestHK, David headed our London Office, contributing greatly to record levels of inward investment into Hong Kong including high growth scale ups through his work supporting our critically acclaimed StartmeupHK Venture Programme.

David and I have worked together on a number of my FDI events over the years. As an accomplished public speaker, he can always be relied upon to deliver compelling and thought provoking presentations on a range of matters relating to inward investment.

David worked with me at Oxford Intelligence in the wake of its acquisition by Ecorys. He represented the company in an advisory capacity with a wide range of Investment Promotion Agencies using his ‘5Ps of FDI’ as a motivational framework for assisting them with their investment attraction. He was at his best engaging with fellow investment professionals and built an extensive network of international clients from Leeds to Lithuania.
